Amsterdam’s culture and identity are being diluted by overtourism.
Amsterdam doesn’t need another tourism campaign and it doesn’t need its tourism campaign budget either.
The city will send a message to tourists by giving its campaign budget back to residents.
In a display of true Dutch financial pedantics, we calculated that splitting the funds comes to about 5€ per citizen.
Amsterdamers can claim their piece of the budget at custom ATMs.
And there is a lot you can do with 5€ in Amsterdam.




Because Amsterdam is for Amsterdamers.
